Location: Memphis, TN
Program: Tennessee Scholastic Clay Target Program
Years Volunteered: Since 2017
Favorite Experience:
Watching athletes grow from beginners into confident competitors—and eventually seeing them return as junior assistant coaches to mentor the next generation.
Favorite Part of Volunteering:
Helping young athletes build confidence, supporting new coaches as they start successful teams, and seeing the lasting impact the program has on families and communities across Tennessee.
Why He Volunteers:
“I volunteer because of the incredible growth I get to witness in our athletes. Watching young people develop confidence, leadership skills, and a passion for the outdoors is incredibly rewarding. Seeing former athletes return as junior assistant coaches and mentor the next generation reminds me why this program matters. You don't have to be an expert to make an impact—you just have to be willing to show up and help."

“I enjoy volunteering mainly because of the people you get to meet, both young and older. It’s important to me to teach other generations about wildlife and nature. It means a lot to be able to share my knowledge with others, especially the kids."
